From his surprise hit appearance at the Isle Of Wight Festival in 1970 to his stunning new CD Use Me, American guitar legend David Bromberg has played some of the most impressive and memorable blues and roots music anywhere. Even taking a decade or more off the road to build violins and guitars has merely enhanced his reputation, making his concert appearances rare and exciting treats. Not to be missed!
Opening for David will be the remarkable Roots band Ollabelle, featuring Levon Helm's daughter Amy Helm, Australian songwriter Fiona McBain, Winnipeg keyboardist Glenn Pascha, bassist Byron Isaacs and drummer Tony Leone. They have just released their 4th CD, Neon Blue Bird (Thirty Tigers). Ollabelle will accompany David in the main part of this very special evening.
