Do you play a musical instrument? Are you interested in playing/singing with other musicians in a jam session setting? Come to Aberthau Mansion at the West Point Grey Community Centre on a Sunday morning and meet fellow musicians to play a variety of genres in a beautiful setting. The amazing acoustic quality of the mansion makes it ideal for unamplified music and voices. This is an ideal opportunity for musicians to get together to experience the fun and variety of music jams and there would be the opportunity to perform in the house at a later date. Musicians from the Rogue Folk Club will be available to lead the jam sessions.
Aberthau Mansion is a beautiful heritage Tudor-style mansion located at West 2nd Avenue and Trimble Streets. The grounds are great for picnics, and the house is 2 minutes from Jericho Beach. There's lots of parking.
