Originally from Costa Rica and Iran, Strunz and Farah have crafted an exotic style, incorporating the cultural riches of Latin American and Middle Eastern music. Performing together since 1979, Jorge Strunz and Ardeshir Farah infuse their ethnic roots along with flamenco, classical and jazz elements into a highly virtuosic, rhythmic, improvisational and wholly unique sound. They have sold well over a million records worldwide, topped the Billboard World Music charts, won Billboard World Music Album of the Year and received a Grammy nomination. Currently touring as a quintet comprised of two acoustic guitars, violin, bass and percussion, Strunz and Farah continue to dazzle audiences and influence guitarists worldwide.
