| This week's show featured an interview with Irish fiddle legend Kevin Burke. He called in at 3 minutes to noon, but CiTR had preempted the afternoon shows for an outside broadcast, and, as is often the case, the start was delayed due to the proverbial technical difficulties. So Kevin and I had a merry chat for the best part of 15 minutes, and I squeezed in a couple of extra fiddle tunes from the great man as well. The show ended at 12:20pm. Speaking of technical difficulties, we had a couple of power surges during the show. I didn't realise anything was wrong until later. In the evening, in fact. The podcast server stopped recording at 11:20am. So the last hour of the show - with that wonderful Kevin Burke interview - was not recorded! | ||||
| So, the only way to hear about his fabulous music teacher, Mrs Christopherson, and the precision percussive dancing of Sandy Silva, and the new fiddle tune project and all sorts of other good stuff is to come to the concert on Sunday November 7th. I'll have a chat with Kevin on stage. | ||||
