Rogue 33 RPM | June 24 | This Day in Rogue History

On this day in 2015 we presented a show with the very soulful trad singer Tim Eriksen (formerly of a band called Cordelia's Dad  from Boston and his Trio de Pumpkintown at St. James. It was a pretty remarkable concert on the cutting edge of traditional and roots music, but hardly anyone was there to witness it.

Back in 1995 we brought the family Celtic harp-based stringband Magical Strings up from Seattle to share the stage with Vancouver's  Chinese / Quebecois combo Silk Road at the Wise Hall. The show graced the cover of our June 1995 Rogue Folk Review.
