The Marc Atkinson Trio with Special Guest Daniel Lapp brings CARAVAN! A gypsy swing dance machine.

Marc Atkinson is one of Canada's finest JUNO-nominated, Western Canadian award-winning musicians. He is the leader and composer of the inter-nationally renowned Marc Atkinson Trio (and co-founder, composer and performer in the acclaimed, The Bills). The music of this virtuosic group is melodically captivating, sensually charged and ferociously, technically awe-inspiring. In his trio, Marc Atkinson is backed by Joey Smith on bass and Brett Martens on rhythm guitar. In Caravan they are joined by the incredible multi-instrumentalist Daniel Lapp (fiddle, trumpet, piano, tenor guitar, mandolin, etc.) Caravan plays the up-tempo dance numbers of Django Reinhardt & Stephane Grappelli with scintillating virtuoso lead guitar and fiddle (and trumpet) to the fore.
