Annie Lou is a quartet from Yukon and Ontario, led by singer / songwriter Anne Louise Genest, who emerged several years ago from the Yukon's fertile crop of songwriters with two solo CDs that showcase her critically acclaimed songwriting. Once she heard bluegrass and old time music, she was lost to the dark side, and her original songs are steeped in these influences. Noted for her exceptional songwriting, solid rhythm guitar playing and passionate vocals, Anne Louise has toured major festivals and venues throughout Canada with Annie Lou. Annie Lou's debut album was nominated for a 2010 Juno Award and a 2010 Western Canadian Music Award. Anne Louise was also nominated as a songwriter finalist in CBC's Great Canadian Songquest 2009.

She will be accompanied by fellow-Yukonner Kim Barlow (banjo, vocals) and two members of Toronto's Foggy Hogtown Boys: Andrew Collins (mandolin, fiddle) and Max Heineman (acoustic bass).
