Don Ross has emerged as one of the most respected musicians in Canada and one of the top guitarists in the world. In September 1996, he managed to do what no other player has done: win the prestigious U.S. National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship for the second time (he first won in 1988).

Don is a favourite with Rogue audiences - this will be Don's 23rd appearance at The Rogue since 1990! This time he comes with partner and fellow guitar poet Brooke Miller.

Don has performed solo - introducing us to his "Heavy Wood" style of percussive fretwork - and in tandem with some other incredible guitarists and bass players including Michael Manring, Andy McKee, Brooke Miller, Jordan O'Connor, Don Alder, Michael Friedman - and also with International Guitar Night and Men Of Steel. He has introduced us to the 7-string guitar, the guitar with radiated frets, and the skeleton guitar! Don is a true guitar innovator, a prolific composer and has released dozens of CDs, DVDs, and instructional videos and books. His new CD, Breakfast For Dogs (Candyrat Records) came out on November 16th following his first all-vocal CD, Any Colour.
