| This was the first show since returning from the Folk Alliance Conference in Memphis, TN. I had the most appalling cough and cold. The studio monitors weren't working at all. I had to listen to the show on headphones. BEtween every track a large amount of static was inserted, sometimes lasting well into the song or even all the way through it. These are not exactly ideal conditions for broadcasting. Do we soldier on, bravely? You bet we do, for we are Folk DJs and give us an airwave and - in this case, an iPod connection, and we will present a show, dammit! | ||||
| The majority of the music was from artists seen showcasing in Memphis, or from record labels who were there, giving out goodies to us slavering DJ types. | ||||
