| Just like last week I was laid up with an appalling cough and cold, the monitors weren't working, there was a static problem on the line, and this week I was pre-empted until 9:35 by coverage of UBC Thunderbirds Basketball. The Women, seeded #1 in the Canadian championships in St. John's Nfld, were eliminated in the first play off round, so were playing a consolation game this morning. Which they also lost. I spent most of the rest of the show trying to listen to Manchester United's game at Middlesbrough in the FA Cup on headphones while broadcasting my own show - with no monitors and static on the line, and a nasty cough! It was an interesting day.... | ||||
