Saturday March 17, 2007

This week I decided to focus on my very favourite Irish tracks, as well as some new releases and concert features and such. I made a playlist on the iBook. 79 songs! 6 and a half hours. This would not do. So I managed to cull it to 60 songs, running 4 hours. Now ordinarily I would cull about 12 more songs to allow for talking and psa's. This week I decided to try using \"live\" voice overs and cross fades, and to try to get all 60 songs on the air, maybe not in their entirety, of course. Just wondered if anyone would notice / mind / complain, and also wanted to see how I would cope with the pressure. Got off to a bad start by leaving late - just couldn't tear myself away from the game on TV until the final whistle. So I started a few minutes late. Managed 59 of the 60 songs, though.
