Rogue 33 RPM | May 24 | This Day in Rogue History

We teamed up with a Musical Cruise - a loyal group of US fans on a huge cruise ship to Alaska - for a 2018 concert at St. James featuring American singer songwriter Ellis Paul and the brilliant Croatian-American pianist / accordion player Radoslav Lorkovic. They were joined by Laurie McAllister (Red Molly) on a few songs, and another fine American penman, Jim Photoglo, added a couple of songs too. Sadly, the only attendees seemed to be the few folks who had signed up for that special cruise component. Too bad. It was an excellent show.   

On this day in 2000 we presented superb Irish trad singer Karan Casey and her trio at the Wise Hall. The tone was set by an excellent personal write-up by regular Rogue attendee Joanne Williamson on the front cover of our May 2000 issue.
