Rogue 33 RPM | May 29 | This Day in Rogue History

On this day in 2010 we teamed up with the fledgling radio station Shore 104 to present a show
in Whistler with Reid Jamieson supporting the amazing Colin James and his band!
Rogue was able to offer members a special deal with accommodation at The Fairmont and
tickets to this show. We went along, of course, and enjoyed the heated outdoor pool. Saw a
few bears on the trail, too. Oh yeah, the music was excellent! Heady days. I found this brief
mention in my Blog from May 26th 2010.

In May 1997 we presented a sold out show with Scottish faves Capercaillie at North
Vancouver's Centennial Theatre (well over 700 seats!!) The concert write-up came from
The Three-Headed Scribe (see above photo!) in our May 1997 issue.

Also on this date, way back in 1991, we held a Local Folk Night (see page 3 of that Rogue
Folk Review) at the Wise Lounge with S.A.E. - three BC songwriters Sandy Scofield, 
Jenny Allen, and Colleen Eccleston.
