Hi everyone

A very short update this week. Just to tell you that the February issue of the Rogue Folk Review is now available for download and it is packed full of information about our concerts plus Festival du Bois and Vancouver Celticfest.

We have two great shows this weekend plus a dance. Tomorrow night it's Oliver Swain & The Big Machine at St. James Hall. CBC are going to record the show, which is an album launch with a very powerful band backing the amazing Mr Swain. Tickets are going fast.

On Sunday we have the #1 Celtic band in North America - Solas - at St. James. This will be phenomenal, mark my words. Such amazing players and singers! Again, tickets are selling fast.

Next week's Tom Russell show is almost sold out (Feb 11th) and on the 12th we have a great young Celtic band from Scotland, The Paul McKenna Band, making their BC debut.

We'd love to see you this weekend. And I'll have a blockbuster edition of The Edge On Folk on CiTR fm 101.9 and www.citr.ca this Saturday from 8am to noon, with some more new releases and favourites from the past few months. Please join me on my peripatetic travels around the wide world of roots music.
