1. Mission Folk Music Festival ticket deadline - Friday July 15th at noon.

Just a quick note to let you know that we have just been informed that the Deadline for Mission Folk Festival tickets is this Friday July 15th at noon. They are $75 for adults, $49 Seniors, $45 youth, and $10 (Children). Camping is $25 per adult for the whole weekend. If you wish to pay by cheque, please call or email us before noon on Friday so we know your payment is on the way. Make your cheque payable to Rogue Folk Club, and mail it to 31 - 1465 Lamey's Mill Road, Vancouver, B.C. V6H 3W1 If you prefer, please call our office on 604-732-1305 and we will process your order by credit card. Deborah will be in the office from 10am to 4pm Wednesday and Thursday, and 10am to 1pm Friday.

All Mission tickets will be picked up at the festival gate from Friday July 22 at 5pm onwards. If you are camping you should be able to set up camp first and then head back to the gate to pick up your tickets (as has been the case in previous years.)

2. Rogue Folk Review available at Vancouver Folk Music Festival this weekend.

This weekend we will have a booth in the Community Village at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival in Jericho Park. Please stop by for a visit and pick up the July-August issue of the Rogue Folk Review, which will be available at the festival for the first time. It will also be downloadable from our website by then.

3. The Outside Track in concert at The Rogue, Friday July 29.

Our next concert features the excellent Celtic band The Outside Track at CBC Studio 700 (700 Hamilton Street) at 8pm on Friday July 29th. Tickets are available on our website and at Highlife Records and Rufus' Guitar Shop. For more info on this great young band visit www.theoutsidetrack.com

4. Shorefest - Rogue Stage outside the Maritime Museum. Free Admission!

The 2011 Celebration Of Light features a "Battle Of Champions" over 3 nights lighting up the skies over English Bay presented by SHORE 104.3 FM.

July 30th - China,
August 3rd - Spain,
August 6th - Canada.

All three nights will be simulcast live on SHORE 104.3 FM beginning at 10:00pm.

Prior to the fireworks there will be live music on three stages, featuring some of Canada's finest Roots Music talent, including these acts on our very own stage!

Kevin Kane (of Grapes of Wrath)

Wednesday August 3rd from 7-10pm
