No Roguery and No Radio Show this week - but don't despair!

Keep in Touch

There are two ways you can receive these updates automatically:

Margaret & I are taking advantage of a rare break from concerts by spending a few days at MacKenzie Beach near Tofino. Raining today but two great days before this, and more sunshine coming tomorrow. I took a few photos; here are some highlights.

The next Rogue gig features BC songwriter Roy Forbes on Saturday January 24th at St. James Hall. For tickets and information click here

There is a show at Capilano University's Global Roots Series this Saturday (17th) at 8pm with American singer Martha Redbone & The Roots Project. You may have seen them at Island Musicfest or the Vancouver Folk Music Festival in 2013. She set poems of William Blake to Appalachian and Blues arrangements. Wonderful stuff! For tickets call 604-990-7811.

Radio Waves
The Edge On Folk is preempted this week by CiTR's 24 Hours of Radio Art - everything from white noise to ambient sounds to poetry and radio drama; for 24 hours! It's not my cup of tea, I have to admit, and if it's not yours either, why not tune in to Radio Rogue instead? I'll update the playlist tomorrow and might even broadcast LIVE from 9am Saturday for 3 hours (if I can remember how to do that!)
