Help Wanted - Urgent!

Hi everyone

April In Paris festival of gypsy jazz is coming up fast! It's going to be an amazing musical celebration. We are looking for a bit of help in the following areas:

1. there are no hotel rooms available in Vancouver this weekend. Not sure how this happened - or why, but right now we are looking at a rather large extra expense to accommodate our visitors. We need to find two twin rooms for John Jorgenson and his band for two nights (Saturday and Sunday) and for les Imposteures (two twin rooms for 3 nights, Friday, Saturday & Sunday) We also need at least one room for Marc Atkinson on Sunday (maybe Saturday as well)

Do you know someone with a spare furnished apartment or two for the weekend?! Or perhaps you - or someone you know - might have room to billet some of these musicians.

Please let me know a.s.a.p.

2. we need to convey les Imposteures from the airport to their accommodation and then to the CBC on Friday afternoon, and from their accomms to the to the shows and back. Maybe we should rent them a vehicle. Anyone have a good deal on rental cars / vans? Or want to be chauffeur to 4 women from Quebec and France who have never been out west before?

3. les Imposteures also require a double bass for the weekend. Does anyone have one they could use?

4. we need two guitar amps and a bass amp for Saturday and Sunday
