Rogue 33 RPM | June 19 | This Day in Rogue History
On this day in 1998, Vancouver Celtic funk quintet Mad Pudding played the Wise Hall. See page 4 of our June 1998 issue for details.
Back in 1993 we had a very special night of fiddle music at the Wise with Liz Carroll & Daithi Sproule joined by Martin Hayes (making his Rogue debut) and Daniel Lapp. See page 2 of our June 1993 Review.
Even further back in 1988 we had a double bill of local music at The Railway Club with Celts & Canucks (Michael Pratt & Lynn McGown, Andy Vine and Danielle Arcand) and Francis Xavier - who ran the Mission Folk Festival for many years. See page 3 of our fledgling newsletter from June 1988 for details.
