From Lafayette, Louisiana, The Revelers are back in town!! They were amazing last May, and they are back in B.C. for a little while. Vancouver songwriter Lydia Hol (pictured here at last Summer's Mission Folk Music Festival) launches her second CD - Heading North - this Saturday January 23rd at St. James Hall. This remarkable young woman goes from strength to strength as a songwriter. She's also an irrepressible advocate of the songwriting craft, and, when she's not helping "unmuddle" me in my endeavours to bring the very best music to town, she's embarking on another new project! Monday Night is Songwriters Night at The Yale on Granville Street, and Lydia unveils the new series this Monday. Come along and check out the "new" Yale, and see what she's come up with!

Tickets for her CD launch are selling fast! Don't miss out! Click here to buy yours!

Quebec's Le Vent Du Nord scooped a Felix Award (Quebec's Juno) for their latest CD, Tetu, a few weeks ago. This scintillating band returns to The Rogue next Wednesday for more French revelry. We anticipate another full house so get your tickets and flaunt your Frenchness encore une fois chez Rogue!
