Sarah Jane Scouten & Friends, Sunday December 15th, 8pm, at Mel Lehan Hall at St. James (3214 West 10th Avenue)

The year is not quite over yet, though. We are teaming up with Sarah Jane Scouten & Friends to present a Midwinter Themed Concert to raise money for Farm Folk / City Folk at The BC Medicinal Plants & Seeds Project.

"Sarah Jane Scouten showcases a major talent and a whole lot of versatility."

- No Depression

"An agile voice, ruminative songwriting, and love for classic country, indie pop, and everything in between."

- American Songwriter.

Sarah Jane was born and raised on Bowen Island and now makes her home in the Scottish borderlands. She grew up in a musical family and is an award-winning singer songwriter with strong traditional roots.

Her guests are: Suzie Ungerleider (above - another award-winning Vancouver songwriter), CBC host and author Grant Lawrence, and brilliant guitarist Mark Kilianski (now a Vancouver resident, with strong ties to the bluegrass and country / folk scene on both sides of the 49th parallel). Maybe a surprise guest or two as well.

Click here to snag your tickets before 2pm on the day of the show.

We hope you can find the time to come on down to the Mel Lehan Hall for this special seasonal finale concert. We would love to see you one more time in 2024 - and then lots of times in 2025.  Wassail!
