1. Pharis & Jason Romero, now scheduled for Sunday November 28th, 8pm, Mel Lehan Hall at St. James (3214 West 10th Avenue)

 

You have probably figured this out already, but Friday night’s concert has been postponed. Pharis & Jason send their apologies, but there’s just no way that they can get from their home in Cariboo country to Vancouver to sing and play for you. 
 
We have re-scheduled this event - tentatively - to Sunday, November 28th. All tickets for this Friday's show will be honoured then. If you absolutely cannot make it to the concert that night, please contact us about a credit or refund at concerts@roguefolk.bc.ca

N.B. This event is subject to there being at least one passable highway into Vancouver. Pharis and Jason will make their final decision on whether they can go ahead or not on Wednesday November 24th. We will post the announcement on our website as soon as we know.

We have already received a number of cancellation requests, so we are building a waiting list for those released tickets. Send us an email on concerts@roguefolk.bc.ca to add your name to that chronological list.

2. Rogue Folk Annual General Meeting, Friday November 26th, 6pm, Room 120 at The Square (3214 West 10th Avenue)


With the postponement of this Friday's concert, we have also decided to move the A.G.M. to next Friday, November 26th. It will be in Room 120, downstairs at the back of the St. James Hall from 6pm to around 6:45pm.

This will be another incredible concert, featuring two remarkable singers each with a superb backing band. We have sold out of tickets to the performance in the hall, but we encourage you to buy a ticket to see the show on the web if you missed out on a "live" ticket. 4. Onstage Live at The Rogue

 

Our streamed shows are uniquely entertaining and enthralling. What sets them apart from the often sterile zoom concerts which have proliferated over the past two years is the exciting interaction of performers and audience. These are not musicians singing to an empty room, they are entertaining an engaged audience of around 150 devotees. You get to see the show from four cameras placed at different angles around the hall, mixed live from a dedicated, professional TV studio, with exemplary sound and lights. All this for a mere $10, folks! Please support our friends at Hubcast Media, who, with the generous assistance of Creative BC, are able to bring our fine shows right into your home. The more of you who watch online, the more much-needed revenue could flow to the musicians. Furthermore, the shows will be available for weeks after the event, so perhaps you might like to purchase an online ticket as well as a live ticket, so you can see it again and again! You could also invite friends and family to watch with you.
